Main purpose of the role:
Purpose of this role is to provide support to Store Management and colleagues in all aspects of the Security function.

The ideal candidate will have/be:

Previous experience within a retail security role

Hold a current PSA Security Guard License is essential

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team

Main duties:

Protect the Store€,,s assets

Assist the Store Owner/Manager in preventing loss of stock/theft within the store

Ensure that the Store is a safe environment for customers and employees

Key holding responsibilities to include opening/closing of the Store

Carry out routine spot checks on waste, deliveries, closing stock, refunds, voids and employees

Carry out investigation work, when required

Monitor CCTV records

Job Summary:
We are looking for a diligent and observant Part-Time Security Monitoring Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in preventing theft, monitoring store activity, reviewing CCTV footage, and training staff in security procedures. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to maintaining store security.

Responsibilities:

Monitor store areas to deter theft and suspicious activity.
Review and analyse CCTV footage
Collaborate with store management to report and address security issues.
Assist in developing and implementing loss prevention strategies.
Training staff and management in security procedures

Requirements:

Previous experience in security or loss prevention preferred.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze CCTV footage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle incidents professionally.
Flexibility to work varied hours
An understanding of Irish criminal and civil law
